Bird watching Trip

Day 1: Arrival Casablanca.
Upon your arrival, your driver will be waiting for you outside the airport holding a sign with your name and our logo ready to take you to your accommodation.

Day 2: Casablanca- Salines and marais Oualidia
Day reserved for gulls, waders, wintering ducks and some species of Morocco. The birds that can be observed during this day are; Marmaronetta angustirostris, Porphyrio porphyrio, Netta rufina, Fulica cristata, Phoenicopterus roseus, Ardea alba, Nycticorax nycticorax, Botaurus stellaris, Ardeola ralloides, wide variety of wader, Chroicocephalus ridibundus and other gulls.
At the end of the day, transfer to Marrakech Overnight at your riad

Day 3: Oukaimiden and back to Marrakech
Day in the middle of Toubkal Massif, between valleys and high mountain, Oukaimiden is one of the most important ornithological sites in Morocco, a good variety of species can be observed. The birds that can be observed during this day are:
Aquila chrysaetos, Buteo rufinus cirtensis, Pyrrhocorax pyrrhocorax, Pyrrhocorax graculus, Picus vaillantii, Loxia curvirostra, Eremophila alpestris, Rhodopechys alienus, Cinclus cinclus, Turdus viscivorus, Turdus philomelos, Turdus torquatus , Monticola solitarius, Anthus campestris, Lanius meridionalis algeriensis, Petronia petronia, Phoenicurus moussieri, Emberiza cia, Emberiza sahari. Day 4: Marrakech – Ouarzazate
High Atlas and its southern slope, the most important birds to observe are:
Aquila fasciata, Falco biarmicus , Pyrrhocorax pyrrhocorax , Pyrrhocorax graculus, Pica pica mauritanica, Picus vaillantii, Petronia petronia, Oenanthe leucura, Oenanthe deserti , Oenanthe halophila, Cursorius cursor, Spilopelia senegalensis, Ammomanes deserti, Emberiza via. Day 5: Ouarzazate – Boumelne Dades
Between mountain, Rose and Dades valley, and some desert area, The most important birds to observe are:
Buteo rufinus cirtensis, Falco biarmicus, Falco pelegrinoides ,Tadorna ferruginea , Cursorius cursor, Ramphocoris clotbey, Eremophila bilopha, Pterocles orientalis , Pterocles alchata, Oenanthe deserti, Oenanthe moesta, Oenanthe halophila, Lanius meridionalis elegans, Alaemon alaudipes, Bucanetes githagineus …….. Overnight at your riad

Day 6: Boumalene Dades – Agdez
Between mountain and desert with a possibility to observe overwintering birds in Mansour Dahbi dam near Ouarzazate, The most important birds to observe are:
Aquila fasciata, Falco biarmicus, Falco pelegrinoides, Tadorna ferruginea, Cursorius cursor, Ramphocoris clotbey, Eremophila bilopha, Pterocles orientalis, Pterocles alchata, Oenanthe deserti, Oenanthe moesta, Oenanthe halophila, Lanius meridionalis elegans, Alaemon alaudipes, Bucanetes githagineus Ammomanes deserti. Day 7: Agdz – Mhamid
Day in the Draa Valley and desert, reserved to the birds of Sahara and dry area and birds, the most important birds to observe are:

Day 8: Mhamid- Ouarzazate.
Desert, draa vallee and Anti-Atlas Mountain, The most important birds to observe are:

Day 9: Ouarzazate – Agadir

Day 10: Massa and retour to Agadir

Athene noctua, Ibis chauve Geronticus eremita, Marmaronetta angustirostris Oeudicnème criard Burhinus oedicnemus, Courvite isabelle Cursorius cursor, foulque macroule Fulica cristata, Blongios nain – Ixobrychus minutus, Tchagra à tête noir Tchagra senegalus, psserins in the gardens on the banks of Oued Massa. Day 11: Agadir – Marrakech via Oued Tamri
Morning reserved for prospecting at the left bank of Oued Souss, to watch the waders and gulls, lunch and transfer to Marrakech. Overnight at your Riad.

Day 12: Departure
A representative from Noble Explorer will meet you at your accommodation for a small discussion about your stay, After that, your driver will handle your transfer to the airport according to your flight schedule.
